How we verify everything
Every centre, tutor, and review on seekedu.my passes through a multi-step verification process. Here's exactly what we check.

Centre verification
- Business registration (SSM) cross-checked
- Physical premises confirmed via site visit or video call
- Photos of actual centre (not stock images)
- Owner ID + contact verified
- Re-verified annually

Tutor verification
- IC verification via secure upload (deleted after check)
- Teaching qualification or degree certificate uploaded
- Reference check from at least 2 past clients
- Phone number OTP-confirmed
- Photo-ID matched to profile photo
- Background flag check (where consent given)

Review verification
- Parent enters WhatsApp number โ OTP confirmation
- Payment receipt OR enrolment confirmation required
- Manual moderation by editorial team (24-hr SLA)
- Same number can submit max 2 reviews per year
- Reviews from suspicious IPs flagged
- PDPA-compliant โ first name + initial only

Editorial content
- Every guide written by an MY education writer
- Reviewed by a MOE-registered teacher or subject specialist
- Sources cited (MOE, Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia, Cambridge)
- Updated annually โ last-reviewed date shown on every page
