When is SPM held?
SPM is held annually in October–November. Results are typically released in March the following year.
How many subjects can I take for SPM?
Students typically sit 8–10 subjects. Bahasa Malaysia, English, Sejarah, and Moral/Islamic Studies are compulsory. The remaining subjects are electives.
When should my child start SPM tuition?
Most parents start tuition in Form 4 (the year before SPM). However, Form 5 intensive tuition starting January still makes a significant difference for most subjects.
